For those who do not follow my twitter feed (which for your sake hopefully means you, in this instance), the previous post was in response to the #OWS discussion going on there today.

I still support & root for OWS as much as ever, but sometimes these discussions of its inclusiveness remind me of Chris Rock’s lament about hip-hop: “I love it, but some of y’all make it hard to defend it.”

Addendum: The guy’s response to the MLK quote is “so you think I’m against direct action??” You can’t make this stuff up.

  6. michelle-my-belle said: there is nothing wrong with agreeing with the basic ideals of the OWS movement while still being critical of it. however, some people have an “all or nothing” approach. things don’t work that way.
